Notes: This petite Japanese Maple is a great focal point for an area where you are some soft color but not also are concerned about size. It will not get over 3-4' tall in our lifetime.

6/15/00 - plant shown was purchased at a height of around 2' and is about 18" across

4/28/00 - It is not unsusual for newly transplanted maples to loose a bit of their growth ( left ) we simply trimmed off the dead limbs and now the tree should start it's "real" growth ( right)
