Fragrance: Huge spicy honey scent.
Light: full sun
Soil: our standard mix
Planting/Care: none
Propagation: dunno
Blooms: July - august
Notes: Yet another of the ginger lilies that we love so much. This is a
new one this year. Plant is 2 years old and already reaches 5' in height. We were
delighted to see it bloom in it's 2nd year. These wonderfully fragrant flowers
have unique foliage for most of the summer and then in late August it explodes
into these great flowers. Unfortunately there is only one per "stalk"
so we treasure them. They can be picked just as the buds appear and will bloom
and last in water in the house for 2 weeks .. put them by an air duct so the scent
carries around the house.
