Planting/Care: Needs heavy fertilizing with tabs about every 6 weeks

Notes: If you've got a place for a large pot .. you really should try this plant. We winter it over at the bottom of our Koi pond but if you don't have a pond, you can winter it over in your garage .. simply change the water every couple of months.

This variety is the giant lotus and will get to be around 4-5' tall!!

9/20/98 ... As the lotus finish their season ... they still leave you with a wonderful gift ... the pods ... these dried pods are wonderful in flower arrangements .... they even make "natural" rattles for the kids.
