Gerry Danen's Canadian Garden

We are proud to be allowed to share these wonderful garden pictures from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. ..... They show just how much beauty you can squeeze into a small space. If you have any questions about his garden you are welcome to send Gerry an email or visit his site.

Gerry Writes ...............

"This is a city garden in a small condominium yard, facing north. Spring doesn't usually start till mid April and to be safe, we don't plant our annuals until after the May long weekend. Mid September is usually the end of the season for this little yard. "

"The Koi you see in the pond (about 4 feet by 5 feet, and 18 inches deep in the middle), are taken inside in a 6 foot aquarium about the end of September. So are the waterlilies. In the spring, the waterlilies go outside as early as possible so they can go through their "cold spell". They are kept in the same tank as the Koi. "
